i-Reach is the Mental Health Support Team in Salford working as part of a multi agency, blended community outreach offer with our stakeholder partners to deliver the Thrive In Education programme to education settings.

Band 5 Practitioners are supported to consolidate their learning, complete their professional accreditation with the BABCP/BPS engaging in individual supervision, clinical skills supervision as well as supervision of supervision once able to undertake further post graduate supervision training.

Practitioners are encouraged to contribute to team developments including taking part in NIHR research trials, co-production with young people alongside our MFT Engagement Practitioners, use digital offers such as Silvercloud and OsiGrows, undertake further training to maintain high standards of clinical practice and personal development.

Our extended offer includes pathways with Accident and Emergency, Salford Youth Service, Salford Schools Sports Partnership, Elective Home Education , Primary Inclusion Team and the Gaddum Centre. There are opportuntiies to be part of pilot projects such as Neurodevelopment in Education, Forrest School and The Body Project

The main duties of the job are to deliver the Mental Health Support Team national goals:

1, Supporitng education settings with the delviery of whole school and college approaches to emotional health and wellbeing

2 , Providing timely consultation, adivce and signposting

3. Offering low intensity CBT informed evidence based interventions for children, young people and parents
