Home Instead is the worlds leading supplier of non-medical care and companionship services to older people. Working on a one-to-one basis with the clients in their own homes.
Providing personal care (washing dressing), light housework and of course the very important companionship care alongside the other duties.
We are looking for people who can offer 12+ hours per week and this to include working alternate weekends. We will fully train and continuously professionally develop you, leading to a highly skilled career path, if that is what you are looking for in the long-term.
We do require all staff have a UK driving licence and their own car, this is because we are a community based provider of care, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between different clients on a daily basis.
We are presently not licenced to offer sponsorship and do not offer additional hours to those currently working for a sponsor.
We offer a full package of benefits including:
+ Basic hourly rates between £12.75 - £13.40 per hour.
+ Payment whilst travelling between clients (some restrictions apply).
+ Travel expenses £0.30/per mile - £0.45/per mile.
+ Full pay whilst training either e-learning or attending workshops.
+ Minimum of 1-hour visits.
+ No set shifts, will work with your own availability, where feasible.
+ Job offer made at interview.
