Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for an Assistant Supervisor to join our Bereavement Services team on a permanent basis.

Position Details
The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the supervision of a small team providing all duties assigned in the provision of the bereavement service including carrying out the cremation/burial service, assisting in the crematorium chapel/cemeteries, carrying out routine associated maintenance and ancillary work as determined necessary at the 2 municipal crematoria.
A driving licence is an essential requirement of this role.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35 per week, plus an average of 17 hours contractual overtime per 4-weeks
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm and 9:30am – 6pm, plus 1 Saturday in 4 working 8:30am – 1pm
Annual Salary: £26,584.54 - £28,609.93 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £1,305, a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £714, and an additional payment related to the 17 hours contractual overtime per 4-weeks.
