Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Filey School is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science to join us in September 2025 or January 2026. This role presents a brilliant opportunity to play a pivotal part in the improvement journey of the school. Our science results are improving at pace, and you will be able to enjoy teaching students who are keen to learn and who will value your enthusiasm and love of subject. Your inspirational Head of Department is ambitious for better and better outcomes for our students, and she really believes in the joy and value of science. This vacancy is offered on an up to full time basis and applications are welcomed from individuals who are looking for a part time teaching role.

What the school offers its staff

Salary/hourly rate: M1- UPS3 £31,650 - £49,084 FTE per annum - Possibility of an allowance for additional responsibilities

Contract: Permanent

Hours/working pattern: Up to full time
