Summary
Job Overview:
Vertas Group Limited is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities & Environmental Services team, based at the Chesterfield Landscape Depot. This is a temporary role for approximately one to two months, supporting the upkeep and presentation of outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and general landscaping
Ensure outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
Use of hand tools and small machinery as required
Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality environmental services
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential
Must hold or be able to obtain an Enhanced DBS
