Summary

Service Manager – Specialist Care Home | Up to £60,000

Lead with purpose in a high-quality neurological care and rehabilitation service.


Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead the operations of a well-established registered care home that specialises in complex nursing and rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a service that provides person-centred, specialist care in a highly supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will be a confident leader with a strong clinical or care management background, capable of ensuring outstanding care quality, team performance, and compliance with all statutory regulations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) managing registered care homes
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and quality assurance standards
  • Experience in managing care for complex or neurological conditions is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence required

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the registered care home, ensuring full CQC compliance and the highest standards of care
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to a multi-disciplinary team, promoting a positive and accountable culture
  • Ensure each resident’s physical, emotional, and social needs are effectively met through well-managed, individualised care plans
  • Monitor care quality through audits, reviews, and feedback, implementing continuous improvement strategies
  • Act as a key liaison with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and ensure full safeguarding and health & safety compliance
