Role overview

As a Claims Fraud Hunter, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our market-leading fraud capabilities to protect our honest customers. Working closely with our Claims Counter Fraud and Fraud Commercial teams, you'll help identify undetected fraud risks and support business process improvements that reduce our exposure and strengthen our defences.



Job details:

  • Proactively identify new fraud leads for investigation using data analysis and intelligence tools.
  • Assess and decide on claim referrals for investigation, leveraging a range of data assets to support sound decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Claims and Commercial Teams to pinpoint fraud risk areas and recommend business process changes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain partners, to uncover new investigative opportunities.
  • Analyse claims data and fraud patterns to detect suspicious activity and emerging fraud trends.
  • Work closely with Counter Fraud teams to support the investigation and resolution of identified fraud cases



Essential skills/experience:

  • Proficient in utilising fraud insurance platforms, with a strong track record of applying these tools effectively for fraud detection, investigation, and analysis
  • Highly analytical, with proven ability to interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Clear and concise communicator, adept at engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across different levels of the business.
  • Proactive and innovative, thrives in fast-paced environments, constantly seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborative team player who also works effectively independently, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Strong claims knowledge with desirable technical fraud expertise, confident in decision-making and challenging the status quo.
