Summary
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and organised Yard & Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team – with the view of quick progression to Team Leader role after initial training. This hands-on role involves preparing and organising customer orders for dispatch in date and route order, vehicle loading and unloading, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will play a key part in ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability across the yard and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organise and prepare loads for trunk routes and customer collections.
• Load and unload vehicles including internal, customer, supplier, and 3rd party transports.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and ensure safe work practices at all times.
• Liaise with warehouse, stores, and transport teams to support operational flow.
• Support vehicle movements in the yard to reduce congestion and improve efficiency.
• Carry out returns handling and protect materials from damage.
• Debrief returning drivers and manage related paperwork.
• Report hazards, near misses, and equipment issues promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in a warehouse or yard environment (desirable).
• Forklift Counterbalance or Combi Lift license (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to lift regularly, work outdoors, and handle demanding tasks.
• Calm under pressure with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Health & Safety awareness and commitment to maintaining standards.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on varied responsibilities.

Working Hours:
