Summary

Customer Service Coordinator (New Build Aftercare Division)

Heppelthwaite – The Red Van Plumbers is expanding our New Build Developer Aftercare Division, and we’re looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to play a key role in delivering exceptional aftercare support to our housebuilder clients and their customers.

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for homeowners and developers, coordinating reactive aftercare works and ensuring a smooth resolution process from start to finish. Working closely with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams, you’ll be instrumental in providing a seamless customer experience in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage incoming calls and emails relating to aftercare queries.
• Liaise with housebuilders, site teams, residents, engineers and suppliers to organise appointments and ensure timely resolutions.
• Use our CRM system (Simpro) to log, track and monitor all jobs and communications.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and material procurement for site visits.
• Maintain up-to-date records, ensuring accurate categorisation of work and cost control.
• Ensure works are completed to a high standard and customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Provide progress updates to both internal teams and external clients.
• Uphold company standards and contribute positively to team culture.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven customer service experience in a busy office environment (ideally within the construction or housebuilding sector).
• Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional and empathetic manner.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and general IT packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Confident liaising with multiple stakeholders and managing several tasks simultaneously.

Job Details
• Job Type: Full-time / Part-time considered
• Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (flexible working available)
• Location: Based at our office in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire
