Summary


We are looking to recruit a full-time Clinical Fellow in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ST1/2). The post is fixed term for 12 months and will be based between the Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital as part of Barts Health NHS Trust. The posts are not formal training positions but there will be opportunities for professional development in academia and practical skills related to the specialty. It is essential that applicants possess experience in Oral Surgery or OMFS at DCT1, SHO or FY level. Expected duties will include; running outpatient clinics with supervision, assisting in theatres and participating in the on-call rota; this includes weekday, weeknights and weekend nights. This post attracts a 1a (50%) on-call supplement.

Applicants should hold full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC).

The Royal London Dental Hospitals offers a range of specialist Level 3 dental (including Oral Surgery services), ophthalmology and oral and maxillofacial services to North-East London. We also are a major trauma centre running a specialist oral and maxillofacial trauma service.
