Summary
Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities Actively participate in the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring the accurate and high-quality dispensing of medicines. Act as an Accredited Checking Assistant under a nationally recognised accuracy checking dispensing assistant framework, performing final accuracy checks on designated dispensed items against prescriptions and requisitions, while maintaining ongoing competency in checking accurately and safely. Support the supply of medicines for both inpatients and outpatients, including accurate prescription processing, labelling, and assembly, while ensuring timely completion and distribution in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Support the efficient operation of the clozapine service and ensuring timely distribution of charts to prescribers for signing. Manage the ordering and distribution of stock medication for wards, ensuring timely and accurate supply.
