Summary
HLTASalary: S01 (33,366 – 35,235) pro rata - Actual salary £24,671Hours: 32.5 - term time onlyContract: Permanent Ireland Wood Primary School would like to appoint a dedicated, flexible, skilled Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work throughout school, both covering PPA and also within classes with the teacher.
We need a HLTA who:
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record
Is able to plan, prepare and assess own lessons
Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour
Has a flexible and supportive approach to changing demands
Works effectively as part of a skilled team
Has appropriate qualifications and experience
The post will include whole class teaching across the primary age ranges for PPA cover, teaching intervention groups in literacy, (including phonics, guided reading and writing) and mathematics (including the use of Numicon and other concrete resources). It will also include working in class to support the teaching staff across school.
