Summary
TA2, points 5-6
Weekly Hours: 25 hours - Working Hours: 1.00pm – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time - additional hours can be worked during our holiday club, as agreed)
Start Date: September 2025
Key Responsibilities: Support early years provision in the nursery from 1.00–3.00pm Provide engaging and age-appropriate care and activities during after-school club (3.00–6.00pm) Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met Work as part of a dedicated early years team under the guidance of a Level 3 practitioner Communicate effectively with parents and carers during handover
Requirements: Level 2 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (must be full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education as stated in the DFE document ‘UK qualifications that meet the Department for Education (DfE) criteria for counting in the early years foundation stage statutory framework staff:child ratios.’ Experience working with children aged 2-3 years Strong understanding of the Early Years Statutory Framework Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
