Summary
Personal Assistant required for a 15-year-old young lady with severe learning difficulties who is an occasional wheelchair user and also requires personal care.
This young lady is fun loving, a good communicator, can be quite particular and sometimes impatient. She likes lots of interaction, role play and generally playing so the Personal Assistant should be someone who would happily join in.
Living in the Camborne area.
The Personal Assistant will support this young lady to develop communication and independence skills and support her to develop appropriate behaviour. To also build her confidence away from her family network and to enjoy activities in the local community.
£12.60 per hour
45p a mile – business class insurance required
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and will not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
