This school is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to lead learning in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child is valued and supported in their earliest years of development. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Foster a safe, stimulating and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social development.

  • Monitor and assess children's progress through observations, learning journals, and developmental tracking.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider early years team to support each child’s individual needs.

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

  • Maintain a strong partnership with parents and carers, including regular communication and parent meetings.

Ideal Nursery Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).

  • A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • A warm, enthusiastic, and creative approach to teaching.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teacher.

  • A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and child-centred learning.
