Are you a passionate and committed Maths teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? Educate is seeking a Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school community and make a real impact on our students' learning journey.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Maths specialist to deliver high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will cover a period of staff absence (e.g., maternity leave, sabbatical, or vacancy cover) and be fully supported by a collaborative and experienced Maths department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Maths lessons that inspire and challenge all learners
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations
• Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, positive learning environment
• Support the wider work of the Maths department and school community
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding and pastoral care
We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Maths education
• Ability to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and commitment to the role for the duration of the contract
