Summary
Office Administrator
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Administrator on a 12-18 month fixed term contract. If you are a really efficient administrator with superb Excel skills then this role may well be of interest. It's within a really busy admin role within a human resources department, so you will also help with HR admin, temporary recruitment admin, working with people in a busy office environment. You really must be great on databases (they used Excel and Oracle) and be a resilient, confident and capable individual.
The Job Role:
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases, requiring advanced Excel skills and good general IT experience.
- Greeting visitors to the HR department, directing queries as appropriate to the relevant team member and effectively trouble shooting where possible.
- Manage the recruitment of temporary workers liaising with agencies and hiring managers, organising pre-employment appointments and new starter paperwork. Any recruitment, temporary staffing or experience of scheduling shift workers will be useful in this aspect of the role.
- Coordinate the processes in relation to sickness absence, family leave requests and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed.
We are seeking an individual who:
- Is a superb administrator, loves working on databases and would consider themselves to be an Advanced Excel user. Oracle is also used within the department on a daily basis.
- An organised, capable and efficient administrative ability will be essential.
- Any recruitment, temporary staffing or experience of scheduling shift workers will be useful in this aspect of the role.
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8-4 (with an earlier finish every other Friday)
