Appletree Law, a respected and client-focused law firm based in the heart of Market Harborough, is looking for a Wills, Probate, and Trust Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our friendly and professional team. This role is ideal for a qualified legal professional with at least 5 years’ PQE, who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in clients’ lives while working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Manage probate applications and estate administration
• Advise clients on estate planning, tax, and trusts
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and external professionals
• Keep up to date with changes in relevant law and best practices
• Uphold the firm’s ethos of compassion, clear concise advice and passion for building strong client relationships.
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE in Wills and Probate
• Able to work autonomously with high professional standards
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Organised, detail-oriented, and methodical
• Transparent with clients on costs, progress, and outcomes
• Committed to continuous legal development
Preferred Qualifications
• LLB Hons Law Degree and Legal Practice Course
• STEP qualification (preferred but not essential)
