Summary

Maintenance Plumber - Continental Shift - Commercial building - Battersea - Temp to perm - up to £24p/h

My client is looking for a Maintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial building In Battersea. The successful candidates will have either C&G / NVQ 2 or 3 in Plumbing. Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out Plumbing maintenance in a commercial environment. In return, the company are offering an hourly rate of £24p/h.

Hours of work & Salary

- £24p/h ( paid via umbrella )
- Continental Shift - 07:00 am-19:00 pm / 19:00 pm -07:00 am
- Overtime Available



Mechanical duties:

- Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
- AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
- Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
- Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
- Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
- Water pressurization units
- Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
- Steam Plant
- Condensers, Condenser Returns
- Cooling towers
- Softeners
- Humidifiers
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Boilers – re-sets
- Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults

Requirements

- Experience working in a large commercial building, willing to learn
- DBS required
- Mechanical / Plumbing qualifications ( NVQ 2 or 3 / C&G )
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- Prior experience working in commercial building maintenance advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
- Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start
- Availability for a teams call prior to starting
