What skills and experience we're looking for
We are excited to have the opportunity to invite an individual to complement our hardworking team in Grinling Gardens Primary School. Grinling Gardens is an alternative provision setting located on the grounds of Grinling Gibbons Primary School. The successful candidate will be working across Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, supporting the learning of the children from Monday to Friday during term time.

What we are looking for
We require a Teaching Assistant who has experience of working in an alternative provision or someone who has substantial experience of working closely with children who have learning or behavioral issues. The successful candidate will be required to effectively assist pupils in a variety of settings, including individual, small group, and class-based support. They will be required to prepare materials, set up classrooms, and support teachers in delivering lessons.
It is essential that the individual is proactive in delivering positive behaviour management strategies and can effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure that pupil needs are met. Applicants must be flexible and able to use their own initiative.
A to C GCSE in Maths and English would be desirable and we welcome applicants with degrees.

Salary details - Salary: Scale 3, pro-rata, 39 weeks per year. Closing date - Tuesday 10th June 2025
