Are you someone who loves making a real difference in the lives of young people? We're looking for a caring and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school that supports pupils from 5 - 19 years old with a variety of additional learning needs including ASD & ADHD.

This is a full-time role, where you'll be providing 1:1 support, helping students engage, learn, and develop confidence in a calm and nurturing environment. The school takes a holistic approach to education, focusing on both academic learning and life skills.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Working closely with students on a 1:1 basis, supporting their learning and well-being
- Assisting with lessons and activities tailored to each pupil's needs
- Helping students develop their social skills, communication, and independence
- Encouraging positive behaviour and using strategies to help students feel safe and supported
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to give pupils the best possible support

What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children with ASD, ideally in an SEN setting
- A patient, understanding, and flexible approach to working with young people
- Good communication and behaviour management skills
- The ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide personalised support
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is great, but not essential - experience and the right attitude are just as important!

Why Join Long Term Futures?
- A dedicated consultant who takes the time to find the right role for you
- Access to exclusive roles in SEN schools across the Midlands
- Ongoing support and training to help you grow in your career
- Competitive pay and a simple, stress-free registration process

If this sounds like the perfect role for you, we'd love to hear from you!
