We are looking for a superb SEN Behaviour Teaching Assistant looking to advance your experience in Education. If you are, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. As a SEN Behaviour Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a student with moderate ASD in a 1:1 setting. The child is on a EHCP(Educational Health Care Plan) and you will be adhering to the plan using your fantastic SEN experience.

We welcome your 1:1 support and want you to strive at this flourishing Secondary SEN School whilst collaborating with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.

The ideal candidate SEN Behaviour Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
- Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEMH students.
- A solid understanding of SEMH and effective behaviour management strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
- A commitment to supporting high-quality education for students with SEMH needs.
