Are you passionate about supporting students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)? We're currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced college in North London seeking a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The Role:As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students aged 16+ who have complex needs. Your support will be essential in helping students access learning, develop communication, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD

Assisting with personal care
-
Supporting mobility needs, including pushing wheelchairs
-
Promoting independence, inclusion, and well-being
-
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

Experience working with young people or adults with PMLD or similar complex needs

Comfortable providing personal care and manual handling

Patience, empathy, and a caring nature

A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
- Level 3 in English and Maths
