Do you have a genuine interest in working with children and gaining hands-on classroom experience before starting teacher training in 2026?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Telford is looking for motivated and enthusiastic graduates to join their team as Graduate Teaching Assistants from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real classroom experience while supporting young learners and preparing for a future career in education.

Graduates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply, with particular interest in those with backgrounds in Psychology, Education Studies, Health & Social Care, or similar fields.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Support teaching staff with day-to-day classroom activities, small group tasks, and 1:1 interventions


    • Help children improve in literacy, numeracy, and essential social skills


    • Assist with planning and classroom organisation


    • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment


    • Learn from experienced teachers and gain a strong insight into primary education


      We’re Looking For:
      • Graduates with a 2:1 or higher in any subject


      • Strong interest in working with children and exploring a future in teaching


      • Passionate, proactive, and committed individuals


      • Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional approach


      • Experience with children is beneficial but not essential


      • Right to work in the UK (Please note: visa sponsorship is not available)
