Crynodeb
Role title – Carpenter/ Joiner (Passive Fire Operative)
Location – On Site covering Birmingham and surrounding areas. Typically working Monday to Friday 39 Hours.
As a skilled Carpenter/ Joineryou already have the knowledge and experience you need to be excellent at your trade and understand the positive impact you can have on your customers.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience
Experienced Carpenter for door maintenance, door installation and occasional fire stopping works.
Previous Social Housing experience and working with Tenants in a live environment would be beneficial.
Working on occupied properties in the main with the occasional void.
Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily
Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
Working at Height Required.
Full UK Driving Licence is required
This position will require a DBS check

Ideally you will have a FIRAS or BM TRADA Qualification, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service.
