Crynodeb

This is a highly exciting opportunity for a fire risk assessor to join a growing fire safety consultancy. The successful fire risk assessor will be working predominantly around the Midlands region with occasional travel outside. The fire risk assessor will be working on a variety of exciting projects across the UK. Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments across a range of commercial, residential, and public-sector properties.

  
  

• Produce clear, concise, and fully compliant FRA reports.

  
  

• Provide expert guidance to clients on fire safety legislation and best practice (including the Fire Safety Order 2005).

  
  

• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend proportionate actions.

  
  

• Liaise with building managers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure corrective measures are completed.

  
  

• Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and training.

  
  Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor (minimum 1–2 years preferred).

    
    

  • Recognised fire safety qualification such as NEBOSH Fire, IFE, FRAR, FSO, or equivalent.

    
    

  • Strong understanding of current fire safety legislation and British Standards.

    
    

  • Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.

    
    

  • Full UK driving licence.
