Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection are working closely with our client, a well established business with national coverage, to find LGV C (HGV Class 2) Drivers for their depot based in Hartlepool.
Positions can be on going or ad hoc to suit availability
*A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates and the positions may become permanent after a qualifying period.
The role: The safe operation of a Class Two (C) vehicle with a winch. Completion of vehicle checks before and after driving duties. Manual handling, use of trolley trucks. Some heavy lifting is involved Checking deliveries with client's customers Store and home delivery Possible permanent position after qualifying period Subject to passing a Drug & Alcohol Test The Driver: Valid "C" (Class Two) Licence In date CPC and DIGI Card Excellent communication and Customer Service skills Minimum of 1 years experience for insurance purposes Hours of work: 06.00am to 16.30pm approximate Monday to Friday Overtime available on Saturdays Pay Rate: £14.81 per hour basic rate for hours worked Monday to Friday £22.22 per hour overtime rate for Saturday Benefits of working for The Best Connection: On-going assignments Holiday entitlement Personal accident insurance Excellent rates of pay On-line Payslips Pension provision 'Perks at Work' Scheme Candidates will be invited to register online via our digital on-boarding system.
