Summary
Key Responsibilities But Not Limited To: Provide care for patients in line with your scope of practice and NMC code Undertake clinical tasks such as: Blood pressure checks, ECGs, and pulse oximetry Venepuncture (phlebotomy) Wound care and dressings Removal of sutures and clips Supporting chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, diabetes) Administering immunisations under PGDs (once competent) Assist with NHS Health Checks and new patient assessments Deliver patient education and promote self-care strategies Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to support patient-centred care Contribute to infection prevention and control and equipment maintenance Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities Adhere to safeguarding procedures, confidentiality, and data protection policies
