Summary
The Executive Director of People and Organisational Development (OD) will lead the implementation of key people strategies taking forward the Trusts strategic direction based on best People practice. They will act as the principal advisor to the Chair, Chief Executive, Board of Directors, and the wider organisation, on all aspects of people services taking the Director lead on the overall equality and diversity agenda. Qualifications Essential Educated to Masters level or in Human Resources or another related field or relevant extensive experience. Desirable Relevant postgraduate management / leadership qualification. Knowledge and Experience Essential Substantial senior / Director level experience in health, care or related sectors. Experience of leading complex and contentious change and workforce transformation at significant scale. Experience and success in developing and implementing plans to address discrimination and inequalities. Desirable Experience of working in a number of different parts of the health and care system. Skills, Competencies and Personal Qualities Essential Exceptional communication skills which engender confidence, strong collaborations, and partnership working. Sophisticated leadership and influencing skills; building compassionate cultures where individuals and teams thrive at organisation, partnership, and system levels.
