Summary

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Helpdesk Administrator for our client based in Glasgow.

This is a vital role within a fast-paced team, responsible for providing key support to the Helpdesk and Engineering teams. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day coordination of calls and emails to the helpdesk, ensuring customer requests are handled efficiently while supporting the broader team with administration to help meet demanding customer KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and action all incoming emails to the helpdesk.
Answer and action incoming telephone calls.
Schedule engineer visits and allocate repairs accordingly.
Arrange and confirm maintenance visits with customers.
Maintain and update customer databases.
Prepare quotations and raise purchase orders for repair work.
Provide administrative support to the Manager and Helpdesk team.
Update customer portals daily with reactive and maintenance information.
Organise accommodation for the engineering team when required.
Manage false alarms.
Process daily invoicing tasks.
Cover duties for the Helpdesk team during holidays or absences.

Skills & Experience:
Strong IT skills with experience in service management systems.
Experience using simPRO is advantageous but not essential.
Proven background in a helpdesk or administrative role.
Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
Excellent customer service skills and confident communication.
Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Offering:
Starting salary £26k - £28k DOE
Hours Monday - Friday 35 hours between 9am - 5pm
Holidays are 20 days annual, increasing to 25 days after one year’s service and 8 days’ public and 1 day birthday holidays.
