Summary
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the patients via face to face, telephone and home visits within The Village Surgery The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance Working independently to effectively manage case load and long-term conditions Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks as requested by The Village Surgery. Adhere and maintain to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process Adhere and maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance Review and adhere to The Village Surgery policies and guidelines Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice Contribute towards QOF Attend and contribute effectively to weekly / monthly practice meetings as and when required Ensure compliance with the appraisal process Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training Ensure your revalidation process is kept up to date Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team To help and support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice Embrace collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly This post may be asked to; Participate in practice audits as requested Partners / Management Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care Participate in the review of significant and near-miss events applying a structured approach i.e., root cause analysis (RCA)
