We currently have a permanent vacancy covering Glenrothes and surrounding area in Council buildings, working 15 hours, Monday to Friday 52 weeks per year, as required.
Glenrothes:
Mobile Cleaner - 15 hours per week Monday to Friday as required 52-week contract. Working between 7am to 12 noon as required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
Pay is 4 weekly.
Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).
Generous holiday allowance.
Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job.

This work is about ensuring staff can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current driving licence is desirable.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
