These posts will be mainly covering public conveniences and offices throughout Fife. Transport will be provided.

We currently have three temporary posts to join our mobile cleaning team based out of Bankhead Central, Glenrothes:

Glenrothes:

Post 1 - Temporary, 25 hours per week 52 week contract Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 9:00pm
Post 2 - Temporary, 36 hours per week 52 week contract Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:12pm.
Post 3 - Temporary 16 hours every second weekend on split shifts Saturday & Sunday 7:00am to 9:00am then 3:00pm to 9:00pm
All three posts are temporary for 6 months.

Any weekend work and hours before 7am and after 8pm are paid at an enhanced rate.

You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Ability to travel within Fife.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

This work is about ensuring public conveniences and offices in the vicinity are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

Driver’s licence required for Council vehicle provided to carry out cleaning.

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
