Summary

An exciting opportunity to join our Curatorial and Learning team as an Administration Assistant has become available at the Museum of Chelmsford. The Administration Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the team. From taking the bookings for school visits to providing essential back-office support for the collection management system, no two days will be the same. If you have a genuine interest in education, culture and heritage and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team, then this is the role for you!

We’re looking for individuals with a proactive approach and a passion for administration in cultural settings. Applicants should have proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a museum, school, or similar environment and excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.

This role is offered as part time, working 30 hours per week.

Interviews are scheduled for the 8th July.
