Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per weekInterview Date: To be confirmedWe are looking to appoint an Assistant Territorial Property Director - Estates & Maintenance to join our Property Department.As a member of the Property Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for delivering the repairs and maintenance strategy across the property portfolio in the UK and Ireland, ensuring that all agreed financial, performance and missional objectives are met.In addition, as Assistant Territorial Property Director - Estates & Maintenance responsibilities include planned and reactive repairs, statutory compliance, financial control, risk management, health & safety, sustainability, accessibility, supplier management property related information technology as well as informing the overall strategy of the Property Team.Key responsibilities include:Providing a high-quality maintenance and compliance service to the property portfolio across the UK and Ireland, to ensure that the mission of The Salvation Army can flourishBe the strategic lead for the provision of maintenance and Facilities Management services for the UK and Ireland, ensuring that delivery of same meets standards of excellence in relation to quality, time and costDemonstrate and promote a leadership style that puts excellence in customer service at the heart of all you do, ensuring that relationships are fostered, communication is open and lessons are learned in order to continuously improveWork with colleagues in Procurement and Finance teams to plan and deliver services in planned & reactive maintenance and statutory compliance involving assisting with setting the strategy, contractor selection and management, building condition assessments and creation and execution of delivery plans including cost and risk managementBe responsible for ensuring that all property condition or service delivery information is collected via electronic data collections systems and that they are maintained as accurate at all times.
