Summary
Our client in Yeovil is seeking a part time Administration Assistant to join their office on a fixed term contact to cover maternity leave. Ideally this role will start in July however, there is a possibly for an earlier start if required.
The role is working 3 days per week (9:00am – 5:30pm). Monday is essential however, the other two days can be flexible. This position is paying £14,760 (based on £26,000 FTE).
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented administrator looking to work within a professional, design-led environment.
You’ll be supporting a range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing front-of-house hospitality and managing incoming communications
- Formatting documents, handling post, and maintaining physical and digital filing systems
- Managing admin inboxes and assisting with general ad-hoc office support
- Supporting ISO-linked QA processes and framework/bid submissions
- Data entry
- Assisting with basic finance tasks including invoicing and spreadsheet updates
We are looking for:
- A confident and professional individual with excellent communication skills
- Someone highly organised, with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Comfortable using IT systems and willing to learn internal platforms
- A reliable team player who can work effectively across departments
