We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Care Club Manager to lead our well-established before and after-school provision at a friendly and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Denton. The required working hours are Morning 7.15 am to 9.15 am and Afternoon 3.00 pm 5.30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Care Club, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
- Plan and deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development and wellbeing
- Supervise and support a small team of playworkers, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies
- Manage club resources, snacks, and administrative duties efficiently
Person Specification
- Experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, or educational setting
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare, playwork, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A caring, proactive, and reliable approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
