Summary
Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Location: Droitwich WR9
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Purchasing Administrator to support our busy purchasing department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills looking to grow within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the purchasing team
• Process purchase orders and update internal systems accurately
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules
• Maintain and organise purchasing records and documentation
• Assist in tracking stock levels and monitoring delivery timelines
• Support with invoice matching and resolving basic queries
• Carry out general office duties, such as filing, data entry, and responding to emails
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
