Summary

Resource Planner – Ground Handling
Location: Heathrow Airport

Are you great at turning complex staffing challenges into smooth, efficient operations? We are seeking a Resource Planner to join our team at Heathrow Airport. In this key role, you’ll help ensure our ground handling operations run efficiently by making the best use of our most important resource our people.

What You’ll Be Doing:
-Create and manage workforce plans and staff rosters across Ground Handling operations
-Use company planning systems to align staffing with flight schedules, budget requirements, and service demand
-Monitor and control FTEs (Full-Time Equivalents), headcounts, and staff availability
-Forecast staffing levels and identify training needs across departments
-Set and maintain leave thresholds to ensure adequate coverage at all times
-Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to address planning and operational needs
-Ensure compliance with working time regulations for full- and part-time employees
-Support our commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service excellence

What We’re Looking For:
-Proven experience in manpower/resource planning (aviation ground handling experience is highly desirable)
-Strong knowledge of rostering systems and workforce planning tools
-Excellent Excel and IT skills
-Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
-High attention to detail and a strategic approach to decision-making
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills
-Good understanding of workforce budgets and planning metrics
-5 year reference-able history required

Working Hours:
-Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
-40 hours per week
