Summary
Total Social are working with Salford City Council who are looking for an experienced locum Adult's Social Worker for their Health and Social Care Contact Team.
The Adult Health and Social Care Contact Team is the first point of contact for people who live in Salford who may need to access health or social care services. Within this role, you will be required to work closely with colleagues to provide information, advice and support to adults and their carers who may be eligible for assessment and care services under the Care Act 2014
We strive to support people to live well and to be safe at home. We do this by having strength-based conversations to support people to promote their wellbeing. We work closely with other organisations to ensure that people are well connected with their local communities and can work towards people achieving their personal outcomes.
The Adult Social Care workforce aims to improve outcomes for people who live in Salford by developing a skilled and motivated workforce. We do this by investing in continued professional development and ensuring that social work practice is current and of a high standard. You should hold a degree in social work, be registered with Social Work England, with evidence of continuing professional development and a strong understanding of the application of Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Safeguarding Adults.
