Summary
To lead the enhanced Tier 1 bladder and Bowel toileting advisory and drop in service To run T2 bladder and bowel clinics, complete assessments, ordering of products and make recommendations To train local staff to offer better assessment, evidenced based advice to GP practice/ school nurse and health visiting services. Provide knowledge of continence milestones, general advice on toilet training and bladder and bowel health, such as information on fluid intake, dietary advice and the importance of regular toileting. To operate the drop in service by appointment only to ensure that we manage the number of service users attending to keep everyone as safe as possible. The continence nurse to be able to answer questions and discuss any concerns including day and nighttime wetting; constipation and soiling and to give advice and sign posting.
