Substantive
Full-time – 37 hrs per week various start and finish times
Band 2 - Salary Range £25,694 to £27,900 pro-rata per annum
Plus Distant Island Allowance of £2,380 pro-rata per annum
We are looking to recruit to the Hotel Services Department, Generic Support Workers.
The purpose of these roles is to maintain a clean, safe working environment for all areas of NHS Shetland in line with NHS Scotland national standards. You will be one of a team of staff providing Domestic, Catering & Laundry services. Working hours as well as weekdays this post may include evenings and weekends when required. Night and weekend shifts will attract enhanced salary enhancements.
We are looking for candidates with good communication skills who are able to work flexibly under pressure. Initial training and induction takes place in the first few days of starting post, then support from other colleagues will be provided until the new post holder is fully competent in all areas of work, there relevant paper work and procedures. A driving licence is essential as you may be required to cover areas out with the Hospital.
