About the team
There is a great role now available for the right person here at the RAF Families Federation. We are looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our small but dedicated team, and work alongside our Office Manager at the Families Federation head office in Wittering, Cambridgeshire. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office, supporting both administrative functions and communications efforts. We are based at offices at RAF Wittering and this role is wholly office-based. Ideally we would like the role to be worked over 2 or 3 days however some flexibility may be offered to the ideal candidate.
The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our small but dedicated team. Reporting to our Office Manager, this role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office, supporting both administrative functions and communications efforts.
Key Responsibilities
General office administration, including managing emails, post, and telephone enquiries.
Coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting the team with data entry, filing, and document management.
Assisting in financial administration, including processing invoices and expenses.
Managing office supplies and liaising with external suppliers.
Supporting event planning and logistics as needed.
Assisting with social media and communications tasks if required.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
An understanding of, or connection to, the RAF community (desirable but not essential).
