We’re currently looking for a nurturing and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our brand-new nursery! We’re looking for:
• Someone with a good understanding of the EYFS framework and how to put it into practice.
• Someone who’s warm, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• Belief in each child’s unique potential and a commitment to helping them grow.
• A strong team player who contributes positively to a supportive work environment.
• Show integrity, professionalism, and a caring attitude at all times.
• Ability to build warm, professional relationships with both colleagues and families, creating a strong sense of community within the nursery.

Duties:
• To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
• To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and needs of the children.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
• Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and stimulating environment.
• Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention.
• Flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties such as cleaning of area and equipment.
• Uphold the nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement in the nursery's practices.

Skills:
• Early childhood education qualification is essential.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire young learners.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and adults.
• A proactive approach with the drive to enhance children's learning experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
