This role involves not just responding to queries, but actively engaging with parents to empower them through information, resources, and advocacy. Responsibilities
Provide expert advice and support to parents on educational matters.
Develop and implement workshops and training sessions for parents.
Collaborate with educators to ensure comprehensive support for parents and students.
Serve as a liaison between parents and the school, addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational policies and resources available to parents.
Create informative materials to assist parents in navigating the education system.
Evaluate the effectiveness of parent support programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a support role within an educational setting.
Strong understanding of child development and educational practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-directed.
Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for communication and resource sharing.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £21.28
