£20.90 per hour PAYE
Current full UK driving licence and access to a car during working hours
The Council are looking for a Project Manager to help manage changes to the recycling collection services. You will manage the project delivery process from initial strategic planning, through to feasibility, planning project deliverables as led by technical leads whilst following governance procedures, project assurance and legislation.
You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners and coordinate staff and internal resources, overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation and creating detailed progress reports for senior council officers and councillors.
Key accountabilities:
Lead the implementation of a major change to the Council’s dry recycling collection service
Lead the procurement and award of new contracts
Manage the procurement and delivery of new recycling containers
Develop and implement a district-wide communication plan.
Key criteria:
Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or APM or equivalent).
Demonstrable experience of successfully managing high profile and high value projects
Working knowledge and understanding of effective contract management and procurement
Effective organisation and time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Current full UK driving licence and access to a car during working hours
