Opportunity:

Do you have a solid background in data analytics with experience of SSIS, SQL, Azure and the Microsoft Power Platform (in particular PowerBI).

Do you want to build data tools that will underpin intelligence-led decision making and play a key role in shaping the future of analytics for the Council, in a passionate and innovative team?

This role offers you the fantastic opportunity to have key involvement in building a North Yorkshire Unitary Council, working with new technologies such as IOT (Internet of things), AI and Machine Learning.

Role Summary:

The core focus of the Data intelligence specialist is to lead the development, governance and performance of data and intelligence services for the organisation.

Provide Data and Intelligence expertise including health intelligence to the organisation to ensure maximum benefit from their investment through developing and maintaining BI strategy.
Support the use of business intelligence across directorates to support service and organisational performance and strategy.
Understand both the business and the technical aspects of Data and Intelligence ensuring they deliver the required outcomes.
Drive the use of business Intelligence to support services and organisational performance and strategy.
To engage in collaborative working with all stakeholders.
