Summary
Personal Assistant required to support a 9-year-old girl with additional needs and trauma from her past, who also suffers from a major heart condition.
Living in the Indian Queens area.
The Personal Assistant will support this young girl who enjoys going to brownies, playing in the park and going out and about in her community.
Full expectations of support required will be explained by employer.
Flexible hours to include weekends and some school holidays.
Own transport essential
£12.60 per hour and mileage allowance.
Some knowledge or experience of working with children / young people with additional needs is desirable.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check, the administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
