Summary
Healthcare assistant required for 23 bed Dementia care home. NVQ in Social care would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.The successful applicant will be required to provide care in accordance with current best practise, policy and procedures. To undertake training and development as required.
Duties to include providing personal care,including washing , dressing and toileting service users. Assisting and completing food and fluid charts and other daily monitoring records. Respecting and giving dignity and compassion at all times. To participate in social activities with the service users. Respect confidentiality at all times.We are situated in a village on the outskirts of Newquay so driving would be an advantage.
