Summary

Location: Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford IG1 1EA

Type: 20 / 40 hours per week

We are currently looking for motivated, organised and enthusiastic facilities assistants to join our team working within our Redbridge Central Library.

Surrounded by books, museums and public users, your role will primarily include, cleaning, basic maintenance work, minor repairs, porterage, furniture moving and
deliveries which helps keep the library operating day to day.

As part of your role you will also help preparing our venues for functions and events.

Job requirements:

Must be hardworking, able to undertake cleaning and physical work and have a positive and can do attitude

Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Caretaking experience would be an advantage.

These posts will involve lone working, evening, weekend and bank holiday working.
